AKG recognizes that employee benefit programs are an important part of the total compensation package. AKG employees also have the opportunity to build security for the future through our 401(k) retirement program. In addition to traditional employee benefits, AKG employees enjoy working in a diverse environment which fosters personal and professional growth, as well as a flextime program to support work/life balance.

Insurance Plans — AKG offers a variety of programs for employees to choose from, including medical/prescription drug, dental, life/AD&D, short- and long-term disability, employee assistance and flexible spending programs. Some benefits, including the group life insurance and AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance and employee assistance programs are paid for by AKG. The cost of other programs may be covered by a combination of Company and employee pre-tax contributions.

Retirement Plan - Employees may also be eligible to defer a certain percentage of salary (subject to IRS limits) to the Company's 401(k) plan. A company discretionary matching contribution which vests based on service may be made. Salary deferrals are self-directed by participants into mutual funds. The 401(k) plan permits rollovers from prior employer-sponsored qualified plans. Loans and hardship withdrawals may be available subject to plan rules.

Paid Time Off — Eligible regular, full-time employees accrue paid time off each pay period. Comprehensive leave provides paid time off for vacation, personal business and short-term illness. Accrual rates vary, based upon years of service with the Company.

Holidays — Eligible regular, full-time AKG employees are given ten holidays during the year. AKG traditionally observes the following holiday schedule:

­Education and Certification Assistance — AKG recognizes its employees are vital resources whose talents are critical to the success of the company. AKG offers a Tuition Assistance Plan (TAP) for certain positions within the company, which encourages self-improvement through formal education so that employees can improve or maintain job-related skills or enhance their ability to compete for reasonably attainable jobs within AKG. AKG will get you on the fast track towards technical certifications. AKG covers the testing fees and courses to support the passing of each individual test.

Health Club Membership — The Company provides Employees with access to a discounted rate for single or multi-club membership to a health club. The discounted membership dues are paid 100% by the Employee. The club membership is currently offered through Sport and Health Clubs.
