Technical Lead

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced technical lead/architect for web based projects involving SharePoint and Business Intelligence solutions with databases, web applications and search engines on enterprise computing platforms. As the technical lead, you will be responsible for interfacing with client contacts and coordinating the work of both direct and outsourced project team members. Candidate must be a U.S Citizen and have an active non-DOD TS/SCI with Lifestyle Poly Security Clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• SharePoint Design and customer consultation to identify SharePoint requirements
• Design appropriate technical solutions to meet client business requirements
• Assist in the development and implementation of workflow solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and documentation
• Provide oversight of both hardware and application infrastructure
• Document the architecture and solution to both technical and non-technical personnel
Position Requirements: 

Specific Experience:
• Experience working with Enterprise Database Systems i.e. Oracle, DB2, etc
• Proven ability for oversight, delegation, and coordination of project technical deliverables
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum Methodology
• Understanding of Security and Infrastructure Requirements
• Experience working with database appliances i.e. Netezza
• Experience working with Linux Operating Systems
• Experience working with MicroStrategy, InXight, InVision, iQuest desirable
• Considerable architecture experience working at the program level

General Experience:
• Complete knowledge of the Product Lifecycle and Microsoft Product Suites
• Microsoft Centric Projects - 4+ years
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2003 / 2007
• Business Intelligence Solutions
• Prior consulting / contracting experience
• Familiarity with massively parallel computing and the aggregation and processing of large streams of data
• Design and development project experience in a Microsoft environment using technologies such as Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
• Experience working and integrating with GeoSpatial systems
