(AKG) will be presenting a special session at the upcoming Regional SharePoint Users Group Conference (RSUC). Ms. Gessner’s session, Migrating File Shares to SharePoint: a Case Study on Knowledge Management will present a case study of Best Practices when migrating file shares to Microsoft SharePoint and she will discuss the process and lessons learned. The presentation will include tips on how to avoid turning SharePoint into another file share but instead focus on creating a usable knowledge management source.

The third annual RSUC is June 26th and 27th (Friday and Saturday) from 7AM to 5PM at the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles and features a full two days of speaker sessions and an exhibit hall. The event is designed by the users and is noted to be a cost effective conference that allows SharePoint users to learn and network.
