Reston, Va., [February 16, 2010] Applied Knowledge Group’s (AKG) Tech Lead and SharePoint Developer, Susan Hernandez, will address the SharePoint Users Group of Washington DC (SUGDC) meeting in Reston on February 18th. Her presentation, Advanced SharePoint Designer Workflows, is intended for SharePoint users with intermediate to advanced level skills.
Susan Hernandez notes, “Workflows are getting more and more popular in SharePoint 2007; however people usually think that SharePoint Designer falls short as a design tool. In reality, there is quite a lot more that SharePoint Designer workflows can accomplish than people imagine.” Susan will take a deep dive into the more advanced concepts, actions, and conditions you can use in SharePoint Designer, including pulling information out of SharePoint Lists instead of hard-coding information.
Susan Hernandez has been developing for over 10 years, and holds certifications in MOSS 2007 Configuration and MOSS 2007 Application Development. She specializes in workflows to improve business processes for clients. Susan creates workflows using SharePoint Designer, as well as custom workflows using Visual Studio, Web Parts, Application Pages, and Event Handlers, all for SharePoint.
