Join AKG as we sponsor this unique event to help support the important work of The Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation. C.J. "Heater" Heatley III will take you on a guided tour of the training and life in the Navy's elite TOPGUN. Join us for the Silent Auction and Raffle, and listen as Heater shares first hand his experiences with TOPGUN.  He will also provide some insight into some of his behind the scenes experiences during the making of the now-classic film, Top Gun. 

Heater has had an illustrious career, including service in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Squadron Commander and TOPGUN Instructor.  In addition to filming flight scenes for Top Gun, he served as a Subject Matter Expert, and was also in the film. Since retiring from the Navy, Heater has continued his record of distinguished leadership working with key senior executives across the U.S. Government and private industry.  He currently is President and CEO of Applied Knowledge Group (Reston, Virginia), the event sponsor.

This event promises to be special fun for aviation fans and movie buffs alike! Spend time browsing and bidding on the items in the Silent Auction, including some special Top Gun memorabilia! Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments as you mingle with neighbors and friends in support of this good cause. A special raffle will add to your enjoyment of this unique event.
